Older adults are more likely to respond to sexual orientation questions in health surveys than household income questions. Assumptions that sexuality measures, including sexual orientation, sexual behavior and sexual function, are too sensitive for older adults are unfounded. Decisions to not ask sexual orientation and other types of sexuality questions of people of all ages, including older adults, must be reconsidered given rapidly changing social trends
